The international symposium "Avicenna's Teachings in Today's World" is held concurrently with the Commemoration Week of Bu Ali Sina and Doctors' Day. Featuring thinkers and researchers from Iran, Russia, Georgia, and Uzbekistan, this program is dedicated to examining the various dimensions of Avicenna's scholarly character and global standing.
In this meeting, topics related to Avicenna's philosophical, medical, scientific, and cultural legacy and the significance of his ideas in the contemporary world will be discussed and exchanged. The presence of researchers from different countries transforms this program into an opportunity for intercultural dialogue about one of the most prominent figures in the history of science and philosophy.

This program is organized through the efforts of the Institute for Iran-Eurasia Studies, the Book City Institute, the Avicenna Scientific and Cultural Foundation, and the Iranian Studies Scientific Association, in collaboration with academic and scientific institutions of the Eurasian region, and will be available to interested parties both in-person and simultaneously online via Zoom.
