The session "Dystopia as a Realm of Thought" is held with the aim of exploring the concept of dystopia not merely as a literary genre, but as a fundamental level of critical thought about the condition of contemporary humanity.
In this session, dystopia is examined as an analytical tool for understanding social, political, and cultural crises, as well as a method for questioning the future, power, collective life, and human possibilities.
Nasser Fakouhi, Mohammad Nasravi, and Mohammad Shahriari Moghaddam will speak in this program about the place of dystopia in contemporary thought and its capacity for critiquing the existing world and imagining possible futures.
This session is an opportunity for those interested in philosophy, social sciences, literature, cultural studies, and critical thought to become acquainted with various theoretical approaches to the concept of dystopia. The program will be held both in-person and online.
