The Naqsh-e Ajab Collective is the organizer of the "School of Law and Ethics," an online program offering a series of specialized lectures on the intersection of law and ethics. This school is designed to explore fundamental questions in the philosophy of law, applied ethics, and political thought.
In this course, topics such as "The Right to Be Wrong" with a lecture by Dr. Arash Naraghi, "Boehmian Dialogical Jurisprudence" with a lecture by Dr. Hossein Bayat, "An Evolutionary Perspective on the Relationship Between Law and Ethics" with a lecture by Dr. Hadi Samadi, and "Machine Ethics and Human Rights in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" with a lecture by Dr. Hossein Dabbagh will be examined.
Additionally, sessions will be held on the connection between right and ethics in Immanuel Kant, intellectual virtue and epistemic right, and the relationship between ethics and law in the thought of Ronald Dworkin, with a focus on the book "Justice for Hedgehogs." The academic director of this school is Dr. Mohammad Hosseini.
This program is suitable for students and enthusiasts of moral philosophy, philosophy of law, human rights, and interdisciplinary studies, providing an opportunity to become acquainted with contemporary perspectives on the relationship between moral values and legal systems. Attendance at the sessions is free, but registration is required to participate.
