Crises, whether in individual lives or in society, test our ability to face hardship. In such circumstances, social solidarity, resilience, and hope can play a decisive role in overcoming difficult situations and rebuilding the conditions for collective life.
The session “Solidarity, Resilience, and Hope in Times of Crisis,” featuring talks by Mohammad-Mehdi Mojtahedi and Somayeh Tohidlou, offers an opportunity to consider how social bonds can be preserved and strengthened during times of crisis, how the capacity to withstand adversity can be enhanced, and how hope for the future can be sustained.
The event is intended for those interested in philosophy, social sciences, cultural issues, and the lived experience of crises. It offers an opportunity to reflect through thought and dialogue on the importance of solidarity and resilience in collective life.
Hosted by Khaneh Najmeh, the event will take place on Tuesday, 28 Mehr, at 18:00 in Tehran.
