Are moral principles real? If so, what exactly does it mean for them to be real? At a more fundamental level, what do we mean when we say that something “is real”?
The session “Are Moral Principles Real?” brings together Dr. Hadi Samadi, a faculty member in philosophy at Islamic Azad University, and Dr. Omid Kashmiri, a lecturer and researcher in philosophy and psychology, to explore these questions and the relationship between morality and reality. Ramin Davatgar will moderate the discussion.
The session is intended for those interested in philosophy, ethics, moral philosophy, and fundamental questions about reality and value. It offers an opportunity to encounter different perspectives on the status and validity of moral principles. Attendance is open to everyone.
