The panel "The Challenges of Social Sciences in Iran in Times of Crisis" is the first program in the "Social Sciences in Times of Crisis" series, held with the aim of examining the relationship between the social sciences, Iranian society, and the crises it faces.
In this panel, Mohammad Javad Kashi, Maghsoud Farasatkhah, and Abdolmohammad Kazemipour will explore the theoretical and practical challenges of social sciences in Iran, the role of social research in understanding societal issues, and the field's potential for confronting crisis situations. The panel will be moderated by Hossein Serajzadeh.
This program offers professors, students, and researchers in the social sciences, sociology, political science, and those interested in analyzing Iran's social issues an opportunity to exchange views on the place of the social sciences in understanding crises and finding paths for dialogue and scholarly action.
