The session "Why Promote Science?" is the third in a dialogue-based series held with the aim of examining the importance of promoting science and its relationship with society, culture, and thought.

In this program, Dr. Mohammadreza Vaez, a researcher in the philosophy of science at the University of Bonn, Germany, and director of the Yara Center for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children and Youth, will give a talk on the topic "Critical Thinking: A Toolbox for Identifying Pseudoscience."

This session is an opportunity for those interested in the philosophy of science, science communication, education, thinking skills, and anyone concerned with a better understanding of science and the boundaries between credible knowledge and pseudoscientific claims. Participation in this program is open to the public and will be held virtually.
