After completing his Kierkegaard series, Soroush Dabbagh began his lectures on the philosophy of Spinoza at the Sohrewardi Foundation in Toronto; Spinoza is one of his four favorite philosophers. The course ran for fourteen sessions from October 2016 to February 2017.

Soroush Dabbagh: "I am grateful to fortune and to fate." I recently finished a 12-session course on "Kierkegaard's Philosophy." It was the first time I had taught Kierkegaard extensively and as a course; I personally learned a great deal in this course and enjoyed the dialogue with the participants in the class; it is as if my instructive and delightful 3-4 month intellectual journey came to an end yesterday at the "Suhrawardi Foundation." The book An Introduction to Kierkegaard, written by Peter Vardy, was the main text for this course.... I intend to begin the course on "Spinoza's Philosophy" from next week. Baruch Spinoza and Søren Kierkegaard, along with Ludwig Wittgenstein and Immanuel Kant, are my four favorite philosophers, philosophers in whose atmosphere I have breathed for years and through whose window I have looked at the world for some time and, in Wittgenstein's terms, experienced a gestalt shift and learned a great deal. In continuation of the upcoming lectures in October, after the talk "Water is a Step Away: Life in the Here and Now According to Eckhart Tolle and Sohrab Sepehri" at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, I am scheduled to speak under the title "The Modern Wayfarer and the Experience of Boredom" at the University of Calgary. I have been working on the project "A Schema of Modern Mysticism" for about 5 years; so far, 8 articles from this series have been published; in the meantime, I have greatly benefited from the sympathetic and critical observations of friends over the years regarding this project. I intend, in the ninth article, to explicate the modern wayfarer's conception of the concept of the "experience of boredom" in everyday life and how to overcome it in my own account. This lecture will be an opening chapter on this subject; I am eager to share my reflections of recent months on this topic with sympathetic friends. The discussion of how to encounter the experience of boredom has a close connection with the modern wayfarer's conception of the transcendent and the sacred realm; moreover, it has strong existential dimensions. Since I have examined various accounts of the concept of the "transcendent" from my own perspective in the eighth article of "A Schema of Modern Mysticism," the findings of that article can be utilized in the present inquiry; I hope the writing of the ninth article will be completed within the next 2 months...

از نیچه احساس خوب کردن هنر می خواهد . لطفا به من هم یاد بدهید چگونه می شود از یک فرد با این درجه از مشکل روحی احساس خوبی از زندگی پیدا کرد.
