The nine hundred and sixty-ninth Bukhara Night is dedicated to "Environment and Culture"; a gathering to examine the deep relationship between the human way of life, our cultural view of nature, and our responsibility toward the surrounding environment. In this program, speakers will address from various angles the question of how changing our attitude can lead to a change in behavior and more sustainable protection of nature.
Nature is not merely a collection of resources and natural phenomena, but a part of our culture, memory, and daily life. This gathering is an opportunity to discuss how we can move away from a consumption-oriented view of nature and create a more responsible and empathetic relationship with the environment.
"Environment and Culture Night" brings together audiences interested in the philosophy of nature, culture, environmental issues, and social action. Attending this program is an opportunity to become acquainted with the experiences of environmental activists in areas such as education, cleanups, tree planting, and nature conservation, and to hear narratives of small but effective paths to creating change.
