The lecture series "Foucault for Historians and Historical Researchers" is a three-session course taught by Daryoush Rahmanian and organized by the Nowruzegan School. The course focuses on Michel Foucault's thought from the perspective of those engaged with history who wish to better understand the relationship between his ideas and historical study and research.

This lecture series takes an interdisciplinary approach, and its audience is not limited to history graduates; anyone who thinks about history or conducts research on it across various disciplines can be the course's audience. From this perspective, the course provides an opportunity to become acquainted with Foucault in a specific context suited to the concerns of historians and historical researchers.

The course begins on Monday, August 31, 2026, and sessions will be held on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The in-person venue is the Koushk-e Bagh-e Honar Conference Hall in the Abbasabad Cultural and Recreational Complex. An online participation option is also available for this course.
