Majid Makhdoum Farkhondeh is an Iranian professor and researcher in the fields of environmental planning, land-use planning, and environmental impact assessment. He is considered one of the pioneering figures in environmental education and scientific institution-building in Iran and is a professor at the University of Tehran. His works and activities have played a significant role in shaping the knowledge of environmental assessment and environmental planning in Iran.
