Mahboubeh Paknia, born in 1964 in Isfahan, is an assistant professor of political science at the Central Tehran Branch of Islamic Azad University. She received her PhD from the University of Toulouse in France and conducts research in the fields of feminism, gender studies, and political thought. Her well-known book is *The Domination of Sex*.
