About the book
“Historian of Decline” is the Persian translation of the book Erinnerungen, the memoirs of Ludwig von Mises, the Austrian economist and one of the important figures of the Austrian School of Economics. Unlike a typical personal biography, this book focuses more on the evolution of ideas, scientific activities, and intellectual struggles of Mises.
In this work, Mises speaks of his education and scientific activities in Vienna, the formation of his economic theories, his presence in the Chamber of Commerce, teaching, and his confrontation with rival intellectual currents.
