Introducing the Sedanet Cultural Website Translation Workshop

The translation workshop of the Sedanet Cultural Website has been established with the aim of the qualitative and quantitative growth of translators and translations of texts in the humanities. To achieve this goal, the translation workshop will focus its activities on the following areas: 1 - Critique: Reviewing and critiquing existing translations of humanities texts, with an emphasis on the educational aspects of translation and editing 2 - Education: Providing sample translations of selected texts in the humanities 3 - Facilitation: Providing tools and prerequisites for translation for translators and editors 4 - Collaboration: Creating a communicative space between experienced translators on the one hand, and enthusiasts and newcomers to translation topics on the other 5 - Production: Establishing educational translation working groups for the translation of written and visual resources on topics related to the humanities The translation workshop invites collaboration from all those interested in the field of translation in the humanities, centered around the aforementioned activities.
