Fereydoun Joneidi is an Iranologist, author, university lecturer, mythologist, Iranian, and a researcher of ancient cultures and languages. His area of specialization is Shahnameh studies. He has devoted more than 30 years of his life to editing the Shahnameh in order, according to his own view, to separate the interpolated verses from it, and his edited version of the Shahnameh was published in 2008.
