Religious Experience: Its Nature and Validity – A Conversation between Saeed Garmaroudi and Omid Keshmiri
Religious and spiritual experience is examined from the perspectives of philosophy and psychology in a conversation between Omid Kashmiri and Saeed Garmaroudi. The nature, validity, phenomenology of experiences, the continuum theory, and the co-construction of religious and sensory experience are the central themes of this discussion.
Religious experience and spiritual experience have been subjects of interest to thinkers, philosophers, and psychologists. In a series of conversations, Omid Keshmiri (philosophy researcher) and Saeed Garmaroudi (psychology researcher) have undertaken a philosophical and psychological examination of these topics. The bulk of what will be expressed in this conversation will encompass the understanding and the degree of justification and authenticity of these experiences.

Session Three

He initially provides explanations on the phenomenology of these experiences and existing research, and then, looking at continuity theory, examines the similarities between visionary, flow, and spiritual experiences, and enumerates the conclusions.
Session Four
This session is dedicated to clarifying the claim and strengthening the reasons in favor of the co-construction of religious/spiritual experience with sensory experience. Omid Keshmiri attempts to respond to some of the objections raised against the discussions of the second session.
