The book Existentialism: The Philosophy of Revolt and Rebellion, a collection of lectures by Mostafa Malekian

An examination of the characteristics of the philosophical school of existentialism, which has many adherents in the Western world. While briefly introducing the school of thought of existentialism and the important components of this philosophical thought, the author introduces the most significant Western philosophers who possess an existentialist disposition, and then proceeds to critique and evaluate the important teachings of this philosophy. The author points to the place of reason in the school of existentialism and critiques the negation and justification of moral and human values within this school.

The author rejects the existentialists' claim that all religious human beings follow a religion either for the acquisition of physical pleasure or for the acquisition of wealth and fame, and evaluates the reasons for human inclination toward religion as its innateness and their faith in moral and human values.
