The 'Development' Lecture Series

“Development in Iran, in Light of Global Experiences”

The ultimate goal of a political society is the material welfare of its members, political freedom and security, equality of individuals before the law, the enjoyment of natural rights, and the well-being of the society’s members. Naturally, the realization of such a goal necessitates a movement toward “development.”

In the “Development” lecture series, an effort has been made, on the one hand, to present various definitions and claims about development and its stages, and on the other, to study the diverse experiences of developing and developed countries in Asia and South America.

It seems that our Iran today needs such conversations more than ever before.
