Baruch A. Brody was an American philosopher and ethicist, and one of the influential figures in the formation of contemporary bioethics. He worked at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine and wrote important works on medical ethics, life-and-death decision-making, abortion, biomedical research, and Jewish ethics.
