Byung-Chul Han is a Korean-born philosopher and cultural theorist based in Germany whose work primarily critiques neoliberal capitalism, digital culture, burnout, transparency, and new relations of power. Through books such as The Burnout Society, The Transparency Society, and Psychopolitics, he has become one of the most widely read contemporary philosophers of cultural criticism and digital society.
