Luis Buñuel was a Spanish filmmaker and director and one of the most important figures of the Surrealist movement in cinema. With works such as «Un Chien Andalou», «L’Age d’Or», «Belle de Jour», and «The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie», he became known for his radical critique of religion, social class, morality, and cultural conventions.
