The ideal human condition is described by two terms: happiness and well-being. Javad Heydari's lecture divides the discussions in this field into theories, causes, and practical methods of realization, in order to offer a criterion for decision-making and the evaluation of individual and institutional behavior.

If we wish to describe the desirable state of human beings, two terms are very widely used: happiness and well-being. All the discussions raised in this area have been divided into three important parts: 1) theories of happiness or well-being; 2) what makes us happy or what are the causes of well-being; 3) how happiness or well-being can be realized in practice. The aim of this discussion is to provide a criterion both for individual and institutional decision-making and for evaluating individual and institutional behavior.
