Akhund Khorasani

Akhund Khorasani, born Mohammad Kazem Khorasani, was a prominent Shiite jurist and scholar of legal theory (usuli) in the late Qajar period and one of the influential marja's of Najaf. He is the author of Kifayat al-Usul and holds an important place in Iran's political history for his jurisprudential and political support of the Constitutional Movement.
