Behrouz Maleki is an Iranian economist and housing-market analyst. He holds a PhD in Economics from Tarbiat Modares University and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Tehran, and is the author of Analysis of Iran’s Housing Market.
Behrouz Maleki is an Iranian economist and housing-market analyst. He completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tehran and received his PhD in Economics from Tarbiat Modares University.
Maleki is the author of Analysis of Iran’s Housing Market, published in 2016 by the Industrial Management Institute Press. Taking account of the structural characteristics of Iran’s economy, the book examines the factors affecting housing supply, demand, prices, and cycles of boom and recession. A significant part of his professional and media work is also devoted to analyzing housing-market developments, their relationship with macroeconomic variables, and the evaluation of housing policies.
He has taught at the University of Tehran, Tarbiat Modares University, Sharif University of Technology, the Institute for Economic Research, Bank Maskan, and training programs organized by the newspaper Donyaye Eqtesad. He is also frequently introduced in the media and at specialist forums as an analyst and expert on housing economics.
