Life and Thought
Iman Abbasnejad, born in 1997, is a researcher, translator, and writer in the field of philosophy, and a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Tarbiat Modares University. His research primarily focuses on moral philosophy, philosophy of religion, and issues related to these two fields. He previously completed his Master's degree in Philosophy at Tarbiat Modares University and his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Mofid University, and has also studied at the Islamic Seminary of Qom.
He is active in the translation and authorship of philosophical works. His works include the authorship of the book Preaching as Healing and the translation of books such as An Introduction to Understanding Rationalism, Modern Ethics (co-translated with Abolghasem Fanaei), Essays on Testimony (co-translated with Omid Keshmiri), The Ethics of Whistleblowing, and Ethics and Religion. His articles in Persian and English have been published in reputable national and international journals.
He has received several awards for his work in translation and research; notably, he was selected as the best translator at the National Youth Book of the Year Award in 2021, 2023, and 2025. His translation of Modern Ethics was recognized as worthy of commendation at the 30th National Student Book of the Year Award, and his translation of Religion and Ethics received the same recognition at the 32nd edition of the award.
