Jafar Nekounam

Life and Thought

Jafar Nekounam, born in 1964 in Golpayegan, is a researcher in Quranic and Hadith Sciences and a full professor at the University of Qom. He received his PhD in Quranic and Hadith Sciences from Tarbiat Modares University, and his research primarily focuses on the language of the Quran, the dating of the Quran, semantics, historical exegesis, and hermeneutics.
