Matthew Lipman

Matthew Lipman was an American philosopher and educational theorist, and one of the founders of the contemporary 'Philosophy for Children' movement. By designing philosophical stories, educational programs, and the 'community of inquiry' model, he sought to make reasoning, questioning, and judgment a part of education from childhood.
