Mir Shamseddin Adib-Soltani (1931–2023) was a physician, philosopher, eminent translator, and one of the most unparalleled figures in contemporary Iranian culture and thought. He is known for his direct translations of foundational works of human thought from their original languages into Persian and for devising a precise and unique philosophical language.
