Mohammad-Hassan Ghoddardan Qaramaleki, born in 1965 in Qaramalek, Tabriz, is a researcher in Islamic theology and philosophy of religion. He is an associate professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, and his well-known works include *God and the Problem of Evil* and *The Quran and Pluralism*.
