Zaviyeh Program with Sepehr Ghazi Nouri Naeini and Naser Bagheri Moghaddam: “What Is the Idea of a Science Institution for Reducing the Gap Between Science and Practice in Iran?”

Dr. Seyed Sepehr Ghazi Nouri Naeini, Associate Professor of Science and Technology Policy at Tarbiat Modares University, and Dr. Naser Bagheri Moghaddam, Assistant Professor in the Science Policy Department at the National Research Institute for Science Policy and also Deputy Secretary of the Science and Technology Headquarters of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, engaged in a dialogue on the Zaviyeh program titled “What Is the Idea of a Science Institution for Reducing the Gap Between Science and Practice in Iran?” Critically examining the relationship between the institution of science and the political system in Iran, they discussed the requirements for linking the realms of science and practice, the problematization of the knowledge system, and the attention of the power system to the knowledge system.
