The Soroush-e Mowlana Institute is holding the eighth 'Day of Prayer' conference virtually and free of charge, aiming to explore its intellectual and social dimensions. The programme's lectures on Rumi, prayer, and the Night of Qadr run from 14 to 20 May.

Since 2012, the Soroush-e Mowlana Cultural and Artistic Institute has held conferences titled “Day of Prayer” each year during the holy month of Ramadan. This year, in consideration of health protocols, the “Day of Prayer” programs were held virtually and released free of charge.
One of the most important spiritual concepts and phenomena is “prayer.” This phenomenon has played a prominent role in our spiritual lives in concrete terms, yet its various dimensions have rarely been examined. Despite the existence of very profound texts on this subject in the history of our literature and mysticism, Iranian researchers have seldom explored the intellectual aspects, and the social and psychological functions of prayer. Sensing this gap, Soroush-e Mowlana has strived, by defining comprehensive programs related to prayer, to foster deeper attention to the phenomenon of prayer to the best of its ability.
