Why do so few people consider adoption, and what are the barriers to it in Iran? A Pargar roundtable titled 'Adoption' brings together a moral philosophy researcher, a sociologist, and a child psychiatrist to examine childbearing and adoption.
Those who want to have children rarely consider adopting a child born to others. Why? What are the obstacles to what is called adoption in Iran? Does moral philosophy tell us anything when comparing procreation with adoption?
