Since the early twentieth century, Iran has lacked an autonomous philosophy that could serve as a conscious 'form of life', and this absence has thrown life out of balance. Reconstructing Iranian thought and bringing philosophy into life is a way to reconnect contemporary human beings with the world and move beyond historical disorientation.
