Seventh Summer School in Analytic Philosophy

The School of Analytic Philosophy at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) will hold the seventh Summer School in Analytic Philosophy, titled “Topics in the Philosophy of Mind, Language, Ethics, and Metaphysics,” from August 26 to 29. In this session, professors and colleagues from the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences will conduct four instructional classes in the philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, ethics, and metaphysics. (The exact titles and dates of the classes are provided in the attached schedule). Those interested in participating in this summer school are invited to contact the summer school secretariat via email ([email protected]) no later than August 6. Please include the applicant’s name and educational background in the email, and attach their CV. The primary goal of this summer school is to help improve the educational situation in analytic philosophy; applicants will be accepted based on this goal. Nevertheless, due to the limited capacity of the summer school venue, the institute may not be able to admit all applicants. The course fee is 400,000 Rials, the payment method for which will be announced. This amount covers the cost of the entire course (four classes), refreshments during the course (excluding lunch), and the educational package related to the classes. During the summer school, accommodation for a limited number of participants who are not residents of Tehran is available at the institute’s guesthouse.
