You likely feel proud because it shows your country to be more ancient, or it uncovers another corner of the glory and grandeur of your country's great figures in ancient times and demonstrates to everyone the magnificence of your land's kings. It tells strangers and foreigners that you are not insignificant. They should take you more seriously. Your country's borders once encompassed several other nations and have, for regrettable reasons, shrunk today. You declare to them that, for example, for centuries a certain sea has been named after your people or your land, which is a very ancient land, and others have no right to place themselves above you and recline in the seat of honor at the global assembly. Very well! Is this the only use of these ancient things? Or can they have other uses? What good are museums? Only for boasting and a bit of tourist entertainment, or can they do something else?

The scientific article below is an archaeological piece, with abundant evidence. But it is of no use for the vainglory of the people of this or that land; it does not elevate the status of one people or diminish another.

This writing attempts to open the file of the history of the mind of "human as human" for us, and nothing more. It attempts, but it is still not clear whether it succeeds or not.
