Christopher Nolan

Christopher Nolan was born on ۳۰ July ۱۹۷۰ in London, England. From childhood, he was interested in film and photography and made short films with his father’s Super 8 camera. Nolan studied English literature at University College London before beginning his professional career in cinema.

His first feature film, Following (۱۹۹۸), was made on a limited budget and drew the attention of critics. Memento (۲۰۰۰), with its non-linear narrative structure and engagement with themes such as memory, identity, and perception, established his position in contemporary cinema. Nolan subsequently achieved worldwide recognition through The Dark Knight trilogy, offering a fresh approach to the superhero-film genre.
