Life and Thought
Hossein Abadian (born January 22, 1962, in Lar) is a professor of history at Imam Khomeini International University and a prominent researcher of contemporary Iranian history. He approaches history with a philosophical, rational, and phenomenological perspective, utilizing jurisprudential and usuli concepts to explain contemporary Iranian intellectual movements. Abadian is the author of twelve books and over fifty research articles in Persian, English, and Arabic.
