Jalal al-Din Homaei was a man of letters, writer, poet, historian, and distinguished professor of Persian literature in contemporary Iran. With his vast knowledge of literature, jurisprudence, philosophy, mysticism, mathematics, and the classical sciences, he is considered one of the key figures in literary education and research at the University of Tehran.
