Mehdi Aminrazavi is an Iranian scholar of Islamic philosophy, philosophy of religion, and mysticism, and Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Religion at the University of Mary Washington. His research focuses particularly on Iranian and Islamic philosophy, Suhrawardi and Illuminationist philosophy, Omar Khayyam, and interreligious dialogue and tolerance.
