Life and Thought
Mehrdad Parsa is an Iranian writer, researcher, and translator in the fields of philosophy and art. He studied philosophy in Iran and continued his doctoral studies in Italy in areas connected with feminism and psychoanalysis. His significance lies chiefly in introducing and translating works related to contemporary thought, especially Julia Kristeva, Gilles Deleuze, Freud, and Lacan, into the Persian intellectual sphere.
