Roozbeh Tooserkani

Rouzbeh Touserkani is an Iranian researcher who completed his university education in electronic engineering at the University of Tehran and earned his PhD in mathematics from Sharif University of Technology. He taught mathematics and algorithm courses for two years at the computer science faculty of Sharif University of Technology before working as a researcher in the mathematics department of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM).

Alongside his specialized work in mathematics, Touserkani, drawing on his extensive and serious side studies, has been conducting a series of courses and lectures at Sharif University of Technology and the University of Tehran for years. A portion of these courses, titled "Psychoanalysis and Culture," was presented at the University of Tehran between 2006 and 2013, examining the foundations of psychoanalysis, with a particular focus on Freud and Jung, and its application in analyzing human and social issues and works of art.

Another part of his lecture series takes a religious approach, covering topics such as an introduction to understanding the Quran, Quranic vocabulary, the story of creation in the Quran, the exegesis of various surahs, Christianity, and Judaism. In his lectures, he has also addressed subjects such as America, capitalism, the conflict between science and religion, and the psychoanalytic analysis of works of art.
