Mokhtar Nouri is an Iranian researcher in political science and political philosophy. In published introductions, he is referred to as holding a PhD in political science, a graduate of political philosophy, and a faculty member at the Middle East Studies Research Institute. His main areas of work are contemporary political philosophy, the liberal-communitarian debate, constitutional thought, and the question of Iranian modernity.
