Nicholas Jolley

Nicholas Jolley is a philosopher and scholar of the history of early modern philosophy, best known for his works on Locke, Leibniz, Descartes, and Malebranche. He is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of California, Irvine, and holds an important place in the interpretation of the relationship between metaphysics, theology, and the theory of mind in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century philosophy.
