About this video
In the sixty-seventh session of the "Discourse and Thought" series, the book "Belief Without Prejudice" is introduced and reviewed with Dr. Hassan Mohaddesi and Dr. Mahmoud Moghaddasi; a book that addresses one of the crucial questions of the contemporary world: How can one be a believer without falling into dogmatism and prejudice?
The central focus of the discussion is the relationship between religion, doubt, tolerance, and pluralism. In a world where religious and non-religious beliefs coexist, the issue is not merely having or not having a belief; the issue is how belief can be accompanied by dialogue, epistemic humility, and acceptance of the other.
This session is significant for those interested in the sociology of religion, religious intellectualism, the ethics of dialogue, and the relationship between religion and the modern world. The conversation between Hassan Mohaddesi and Mahmoud Moghaddasi is an opportunity to reflect on the fine line between living faith and closed-minded prejudice.
