About this video
In this video, within the framework of a series of sessions on the problematics of social sustainability in Iran, Mohammad Fazeli discusses the topic of 'Inflation Against Morality.' The program is organized by Sustainable Iran and hosted by Sajjad Fattahi, focusing on the social and moral consequences of inflation in Iranian society.
The core of the discussion is how inflation, beyond reducing purchasing power and causing economic instability, affects trust, fairness, honesty, foresight, and the quality of social relations. When the value of money becomes unstable and the possibility of planning diminishes, individual and collective behaviors also come under pressure, creating grounds for distrust, opportunism, and the erosion of public morality.
The importance of this conversation lies in demonstrating the link between economics and morality at the level of everyday life and social sustainability. This program is suitable for audiences interested in Iran, economics, public morality, policymaking, social trust, and the future of Iranian society.
