Economic crises and the pandemic threaten society's mental health. Dr. Ali Sahebi, hosted by the Ghadir Cultural House, examines resilience and cultivating hope: 'We may not always be able to master crises, but we can always master ourselves.'

Crises seem to have no end. The economic crisis had not yet subsided when the coronavirus crisis was added to it. The coronavirus makes the economic situation more critical and threatens both the physical and mental health of society. Every day, the number of those infected with the coronavirus and the death toll preoccupy the spirit and psyche of society, fueling the difficult conditions that have arisen for people due to the particular state of their livelihoods. But the important question is: what is to be done?
The Ghadir Charity Organization, which has always been concerned with the social and cultural issues of society, has, in line with its goals, begun holding psychology-focused sessions, which are of great importance under the current circumstances. Today, mental health is perhaps more important than other areas, because a suffering body can be healed with a strong psyche, but the reverse may not be possible... The Ghadir Cultural House, in collaboration with the Emad House and the Athena Institute, virtually hosted Dr. Ali Sahebi. The topic of Dr. Sahebi's lecture was "Resilience in Times of Crisis, Cultivating Hope and Optimism in Difficult Circumstances." A topic about which having information is a necessity for everyone, especially in the era we are living through. Perhaps we cannot always master crises, but we can always master ourselves; we only need awareness of ourselves and our own resources ...
