Introducing Issue 157 of Ettela'at-e Hekmat va Ma'refat

A Special Issue on "Intercultural Philosophy" The new issue of the Ettela'at-e Hekmat va Ma'refat Quarterly has been published.

Intercultural philosophy, although sometimes spoken of as a philosophical discipline or branch, is predominantly defined as an approach, referred to by various terms such as an insight, a regulative program, or an ethical commitment. An insight that, moving beyond absolutism and self-centeredness, is humble, open to the other, and diversity-oriented, and has the capacity to be proposed and developed in various branches of knowledge, including philosophy. In intercultural philosophy, both the nature of philosophy is discussed and culture is not overlooked.
