Mehdi Nasrin Lecture: “A Review of The Structure of Scientific Revolutions”
Thomas Kuhn's *The Structure of Scientific Revolutions*, the most influential philosophical work of the second half of the twentieth century, marked the beginning of the end for logical empiricism. Mehdi Nasrin's lecture examines the criteria for a scientific revolution and the Persian translations of this widely cited book.
The book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, written by Thomas S. Kuhn in 1962, presents criteria for identifying a scientific revolution. As the most influential philosophy book of the second half of the twentieth century, it marked the beginning of the end of logical empiricism. The book has been translated into Persian four times: by Ahmad Aram, Tehran, Soroush Publications, 1990; Abbas Taheri, Qesseh Publications, 2004; Saeed Zibakalam, SAMT Publications, 2010; Ali Javadzadeh, Now Publications, 2016. This book is one of the most cited academic works.
