Christopher Peterson, one of the founders of positive psychology, classified one hundred reflections on the good life into eleven sections and published them in the book *Pursuing the Good Life*. These writings were well received by readers and were shaped by their feedback.

In April 2008, the late Christopher Peterson received an email from the website “Psychology Today” in which he was asked to publish his scientific findings for the general public on that website. As one of the founders of positive psychology and co-author of the classic book Character Strengths and Virtues: A Handbook and Classification, he accepted this invitation and wrote the present reflections, which were mostly published under the general title of the good life, exploring its various dimensions and being widely welcomed.
These reflections were greatly welcomed, and readers shared their feedback. Peterson learned much from them, including that: people seek practical results, brevity and simplicity are good, and they are looking for concrete and real examples. The echo of all these lessons can be seen in these reflections in some way. After the reflections reached a considerable number, Peterson selected 100 of them that were most related to positive psychology, and after classifying them into eleven sections, he compiled them into the present book, titled Pursuing the Good Life: 100 Reflections on Positive Psychology.
⭕️ In positive psychology, discussions are raised that were not present in past psychology books, such as that religion matters; money is important for happiness, provided it is spent on others ...
⭕️ Three studies have been conducted showing that there is a correlation between fast food and impatience, or that fast food causes impatience. The irony is that fast food was produced to save us time.
⭕️ In Nietzsche's view, hope is the worst evil in the world. Peterson critiques this perspective.
⭕️ Eric Weiner traveled for a year to various parts of the world that are said to be the happiest places ... He published his report in the book The Geography of Bliss: One Grump's Search for the Happiest Places in the World.
⭕️ There is a common proverb among mountaineers that the mountain does not prevent you from climbing, but the pebble in your shoe does.
