Philosophy of Science Lectures by Hossein Sheikh Rezaei

Philosophy of science, or philosophy of the sciences, is a branch of philosophy that devotes itself to the study of the history, nature, principles and foundations, methods, tools, and the nature of the results obtained in the various sciences. Philosophy of science, in terms of the science under investigation, is itself divided into numerous sub-branches, among which one can mention the philosophy of physics, philosophy of chemistry, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of biology, philosophy of social sciences, philosophy of quantum mechanics, and philosophy of relativity.

Hossein Sheikh Rezaei is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Philosophy of Science at Sharif University of Technology and received his PhD in philosophy from Durham University in 2006. Alongside his research in the field of philosophy of science and teaching philosophy to children, he has also published numerous translations and authored works and is engaged in teaching at various universities.
